Background
The National Federation of Filipino American Associations Youth (NAFFAA Youth)
is a national, membership- based organization that represents and advocates on
behalf of Filipino-Americans in the United States.
The National Federation of Filipino American
Associations Youth (NAFFAA Youth) is led
by national youth leaders aligned with NAFFAA
national’s mission and goals.
National Youth Goal
“To empower young Filipino-Americans
by providing tools to influence their local
communities.”
National Youth Objectives
- We will build a strong national youth
infrastructure to have an effective and
efficient communication and action network.
- We will provide technical assistance
and training to build the local regions
and to pursue a local and national issue-oriented
action agenda.
- We will develop a national advocacy voice
on behalf of the young Filipino-Americans.

Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Results-Oriented and Time-determined
National Youth Programs
- National Empowerment Conference: We
utilize the biennial empowerment conference
to select a national action agenda that
will direct the use of resources of NaFFAA
national. In addition to selecting issues,
the conference will be a national network
for the youth. The conference reaches to
young professionals and interested students
from junior high to the university level.
- Regional Conferences: In the alternate
year, each region will host a conference.
A conference brochure shall be provided,
which includes leadership development activities,
organizing training, and network building
within the region.
- Technical Assistance/Capacity Building:
Through out the year, NaFFAA National Youth
will provide training for network building,
offer assistance in strategizing and serve
as a hub to facilitate the national communication.
- Program Development: NaFFAA National
Youth will design programs that emphasize
leadership, capacity-building and membership
development plans.
